NLR Domain Name Updates

March 16, 2026

In alignment with the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) new name, the NLR HPC website is now available at https://www.nlr.gov/hpc/. Please update your bookmarks to reflect the new domain name. 

For external Kestrel users, the transition to kestrel.nlr.gov and kestrel-dav.nlr.gov has begun; please update your ssh aliases. Internal address updates will be announced in the future.

The HPC Support team is now available at [email protected]. 

The HPC User Documentation site address has also moved to https://natlabrockies.github.io/HPC/.

Web and email addresses at the former nrel.gov domain will continue to function during a transition period. Documentation is being updated to reflect these changes. We will provide further information as the change process continues.
