New CSC Lightning Talk Series
March 16, 2026
We are kicking off our Computational Science Center Lightning Talk series Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
This series of monthly sessions consists of short (5-to-10-minute) talks. The overarching goal is to create a forum for researchers to share their latest breakthroughs, nifty new workflows, or anything else they feel passionate about. This has the added benefit of potentially leading to collaborations; to help facilitate collaboration, the talks will be recorded and logged in a searchable database.
Our first set of talks, starting on March 10, will use the beginning half of the HPC Office Hours scheduled for 11-12pm (MT).
- Jeffery Allen: Intro to CSC Lightning Talks
- Jeffery Allen: Auto-Calibration Toolkit: automatically tune models to new experimental material parameters
- Nicholas Wimer: Insights from time-dependent ML models for hydrogen electrolysis production
If you would like to participate in a future session of these lightning talks please email Christine Schwing.
Information on future sessions of these talks (resources, recordings, etc) will be available to NLR employees and non-NLR employees who are a part of the public CSC Tutorials Team on the CSC Lightning Talks web page.
